Thank you for your interest in becoming a Certified Total Quality Auditor™ (CTQA™)!
The CTQA was developed by Audit. Consulting. Education. LLC, based on the teachings found in the Total Quality Auditing® (TQA) Book and Workbook published in 2019.
Although completion of a TQA CPE Course (8 hour, 12 hour, or 16 hour TQA courses are offered through Audit. Consulting. Education. LLC) can greatly assist in the examination, it is not required. The CTQA Examination can be purchased directly here and completed based on your self-study of the TQA Book and Workbook.
Why take the CTQA Examination and become a CTQA?
TQA was built based on the successful, proven principles of Total Quality Management (TQM). It has a track record of literally “turning internal audit functions around” much as the TQM concepts did for auto-manufacturers decades ago.
TQA is full of real-world, practical auditing techniques for progressive internal auditors. Becoming a CTQA, a CERTIFIED Total Quality Auditor, will show your organization you not only understand TQM concepts, but that you are ready to fully apply the TQA Points of Focus: Ethics, Standards, Feedback, Lean, Balance, and Leadership, in your current internal audit practice. It will show them you have the skills to add real value and make a difference in your organization’s operations.
The CTQA Examination cost is $250 and included in the cost is the TQA study materials (TQA Book and Workbook, $59.99 value). If you already have the TQA Book and Workbook, coupon code “IHAVETQA” will provide you a $60 discount directly to your examination fees.
The CTQA Examination consists of 50 questions (22 multiple choice, 20 true/false, and 8 short answer) and a score of 70% or higher is needed to receive a passing score. If a passing score is achieved, your CTQA Certificate of Completion will be issued and sent by email from Audit. Consulting. Education. LLC within 30 days of completion.
After payment is received, the CTQA Examination can be taken at any time through a website provided to you by a representative of Audit. Consulting. Education. LLC. At the end of the examination is a certification that you have taken the exam independently without the assistance of others.
