Description:

“Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, Sloth.” Have you ever thought of these “7 Deadly Sins” in terms of technology? Probably not.

Well, from the “greed” of social media enterprises, to the “sloths” of technology implications…  This session will explore each sin in terms of privacy, security, transparency, integrity, trust, communication, and more.

After completing this session, learners will:

– Understand the various ethical implications of social media, e-commerce, recent technologies, and communication.
– Become aware of what IT waste exists today and how to minimize the impact of such waste.
– See the importance of properly managing your organization’s susceptibility to the 7 deadly ethical sins of technology today.
