What otheS are saying about Jo

“Mr. Rogers was a beloved television star that engaged children. He made each one feel important and as if they were the only person he was talking to. This is the best way I can describe my experience with your presentation. Your camera presence was amazing, dynamic, and engaging!”

~ Virtual Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Attendee

“I love how Amanda “Jo” was interactive, attention grabbing, funny, and overall knew how to entertain us while subtly teaching us lessons about ethics!

~ Virtual The 7 Deadly Ethical Sins of Organizations® Attendee

Jo was amazingggggggg! Her energy and passion for ethics is palpable. I am truly inspired by her to be a better auditor every time I hear her speak. The examples and biases we face that challenge our moral sense were highly relatable.

~ Becoming The Everyday Ethical Auditor™ Attendee, AuditBoard Webinar – May 2024

Fantastic!!! Jo was amazing. Personally, I love Ethics, but I know the material can be very dry for those who aren’t a fan; she does an amazing job at presenting this subject matter!

Great webinar! Best ethics training I have attended, and I have attended MANY.

This was a great presentation. Probably the best ethics course I’ve taken. Well done!

~ Becoming The Everyday Ethical Auditor™ Attendee, AuditBoard Webinar – May 2024

Very engaging. Best ethics CPE I have taken.

Great speaker – interesting topic, up to date material, presented well. Speaks loud and clear and very direct. Excellent.

Great presentation, love all the examples that happen in todays society (although wish there weren’t so many to choose from!).

~ Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® – Massachusetts CPA Society Private Client Training Attendees – May 2024

~ The 7 Deadly Ethical Sins of Organizations Attendee, NCFL IIA Chapter Fraud Fest – May 2024

~ Are Technology Ethics Broken? Attendees, State Employees Leading Colorado (SELC) Conference – May 2024

This has been one of the most engaging and exciting seminars that I have attended. The content was great, relevant, and on point.

This was the best ethics course that I have ever attended. From real life examples to key robots to assist on the job but also everyday life is priceless.

I thought you were very high energy and definitely kept it interesting all day!

No specific feedback other than this was one of the best events I’ve attended.

Excellent! My first in person CPE and loved it!

~ Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® and Fraud & Pop Culture Attendees, IIA Triad Chapter Spring Conference – March 2024

A true educator! Engaging, funny, practical, and provided true insights on how to be more lean! One of the best at GAM!

The most alive session I have attended. This is the vibe of the future for Internal Audit…..would love to work with Amanda Jo and Elizabeth.

This is the best session of the conference! Thank you!!

Both Jo and Elizabeth came across as very engaged, knowledgeable and inspiring. I liked the ”fireside-like” setting – it felt more like a conversation than a lecture, in a positive way. I suggest the IIA engage them in future conferences and online webinars.

A longer session would be very beneficial! Both presenters had so much knowledge that it felt like a disservice to limit it to an hour.

Outstanding presentation! Important and practical advice that is very actionable.

~ Inking Innovation into Internal Audit with Agile and Lean Techniques with Elizabeth McDowell, IIA GAM Conference – March 2024

Very well done!

Great session, it really makes an auditor stop and think!

Very good! I liked the specific examples you went through on the fraud triangle assessment and risk impact assessment. you provided a lot of good things to think about.

This is the best ethics course I’ve ever taken! Very current information that can be applied to all business sectors/organizations.

Very engaging presentation – kept my attention the entire 2 hours! Loved the videos incorporated throughout!

I loved this presentation. I was expecting a more typical slide-based presentation with someone lecturing and only talking. I loved how you incorporated all the documentary videos. Nice job!

~ The 7 Deadly Ethical Sins of Organizations Attendees, Houston IIA Chapter – December 2023

One of the best Ethics programs I have attended.
Would recommend that anyone who has time should attend one of your programs. It mixes facts with real world examples. Thank you for sharing.

~ The 7 Deadly Ethical Sins of Organizations Attendee, Houston IIA Chapter – December 2023

Thanks so much for your time and for a great event!

~ The 7 Deadly Ethical Sins of Organizations in 2023 (VBOA Approved Ethics) Attendee, Wash DC IIA Chapter – November 2023

Best ethics course I’ve ever taken!

Currently at the IIA Ignite Leadership conference and had the blessing of hearing Jo speak about ethical decisions. The BIG me will resonate with me forever. Besides the presentation being well organized, the Kahoot! Game was fun and engaging and the take-aways were insightful. The 2023 IIA conference is very good, but receiving information to become an everyday ethicist, was the best!

I recently attended Fraud Retreat hosted by Audit. Consulting. Education. LLC. This was more than conference. Amanda “Jo” brought together such an impressive group of speakers, that offered insights into the various aspects of fraud prevention efforts including the impact your work culture may have on those efforts. I really appreciated the intimate setting Fraud Retreat gave to participants. Collaboration is key to fighting fraud and thats what Fraud Retreat gave!! All the speakers and the vibe of the overall event was just amazing!! 10/10

~ 2023 Fraud Retreat Attendee & Speaker

Such a wonderful event! I loved hearing all the different speakers and thought there was something for everyone.

What was great?… The ability to network with so many different people due to the intimacy of both the number of attendees and venue.
I also appreciated the variety of topics presented and the diversity of industries represented.

The presenters were all very informative and fun!

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist 4-Hour CPE Training Attendees, Massachusetts CPA Events – June 2023

What an incredible job Jo did for the Central Ohio Fraud Chapter! Giving over 900 professionals not one, but two sessions of Ethics, and Internal Audit!

Ethics can be a tough piece of content to keep a crowd at bay… but with some amazing punch lines, fun interactive game with funky sound effects, and a fantastic speaker, our entire conference got the best kind of ethics training out there!!

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist Keynote and Rethinking Internal Audit Attendee, Central Ohio ACFE Chapter Conference – May 2023

~The 7 Deadly Ethical Sins of Organizations Attendee, Fargo, ND – Red River Valley IIA Chapter – April 2023

Jo – Wow! You are a great speaker!!!!

Very engaging and gave good points to bring up to audit leaders that may otherwise turn their nose up to change.

Engaging, love the stories!

~Rethinking Internal Audit Attendees, Florida West Coast IIA Chapter – April 2023

Great great great session, Jo! I am only in the second year of my internal audit career, so it is great to hear of new approaches and ways to develop an audit for the year outside of what my organization already has in place. Although my financial institution is amazing, I think it is important to bring fresh ideas back to the team – and that is what I plan to do! Thank you for your time in speaking with us and I look forward to following you on social media where I can hopefully see you speak again in the future!

~Rethinking Internal Audit Attendee, San Antonio IIA Chapter – March 2023

~Rethinking Internal Audit Attendee, San Antonio IIA Chapter – March 2023

~Rethinking Internal Audit Attendee, Central IL IIA Chapter – February 2023

Fantastic! So engaging and relevant! The real-world examples and the they’re presented made this one of the best webinars I’ve ever seen.

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Attendee, Kansas City ACFE Chapter – February 2023

I’ve stayed interested the entire time – due both to content and presentation!

It made me think of an experience I had at Target a few years ago: I had a shaving razer in my hand that I planned on buying, then got distracted talking with one of the employees who is a friend of my ex-husband (he was there too and started the chat). We chatted for a good 15 – 20 minutes, and by that time I had totally forgotten that I had the razer in my hand and I walked right out of the store without paying! Halfway to the car I totally panicked because I wanted to go back in and pay, but I also didn’t want to be apprehended on my way back in for stealing since intent was NOT there! Ultimately I did go back in and pay and it wasn’t a problem. Whew!

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Attendee, Kansas City ACFE Chapter – February 2023

I have always found fraud and why people commit fraud to be interesting. Coming at it from a side of ethics is interesting and made me realize I’m an ethical rationalizer and that’s not good enough. I plan to be more conscience after this about being an everyday ethicist.

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Attendee, Kansas City ACFE Chapter – February 2023

Love your breaking (the ethics) thought process into the three types. Makes analyzing observations and self-assessment very clear!

Your presentation was great!

Your email to all the attendees after – amazing!  I wish all presenters were so good about anticipating what their students may need.  Several of us were discussing furiously writing down book, news, and podcast recommendations during your presentation and then, poof, they were in our inbox this morning with links and all.  But then again, I probably shouldn’t be surprised because you really have been a pleasure to work with.

~Total Quality Auditing® Attendees and Meeting Planner, Association of Local Government Auditors Regional Conference – November 2022

Every presentation was so engaging and informative!

Intimate size, the interaction with attendees, one of the best training in years. Great job.

I loved all of the every day applications and real life examples.

I loved the interaction with the speakers as well as the gentle “forcing” to interact with other members of the conference. The smaller size of the conference was wonderful to allow for better more impactful networking opportunities!

I really liked hearing directly from the victims themselves. I don’t think I have ever been to Fraud CPE where the victims have told how they discovered it and the impact on their business.

The smaller size of the conference was wonderful to allow for better more impactful networking opportunities!

Our office had the opportunity yesterday to participate in the training, Rethinking Internal Audit, by Amanda “Jo” Erven. The content was eye opening about how we need to take a different look at how we approach our work and not to let the idea that “we’ve always done it that way” guide us. It was a great class to get us thinking about how we can do our job better.

~Rethinking Internal Audit Attendee, Private Client – May 2022

I really enjoyed the presentation. It pushed the envelope, and I saw it put new ideas to our audit leadership team. Thank you!

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Attendee, Winnipeg IIA 2022 Fraud Summit – March 2022

~The 7 Deadly Ethical Sins of Organizations Attendee, Central Ohio Chapter of the ACFE – January 2022

~The 7 Deadly Ethical Sins of Organizations Attendee, Central Ohio Chapter of the ACFE – January 2022

Fantastic, upbeat, engaging with plenty of relevant material. The two hours just flew by – wonderful presentation!

~The 7 Deadly Ethical Sins of Organizations Attendee, Central Ohio Chapter of the ACFE – January 2022

Jo’s Ethics course is highly recommended! Taking her course heightened my self-awareness of my own ethical character, which gives me leverage to pivot my approach in the most ideal way in dealing with challenging ethical scenarios.
As a presenter, she goes above and beyond! She was instrumental in making my Chapter’s recent event a success. Jo’s name is on the top of my list of my most recommended speakers!

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Virtual Session Attendee, Inland Empire IIA Chapter President – January 2022

Presenter draws on so many real life examples or corporations behaving unethically. This is what makes it so interesting! You can tell the presenter is very passionate about the subject matter which is inspiring! If not the best, it is probably one of the best courses I have taken on ethics.

~ The 7 Deadly Ethical Sins of Organizations Course Attendee, CPD Formula – December 2021

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Virtual Session Attendee, Houston IIA Chapter – October 2021

This was by far the best Ethics Training I have attended. This was a virtual event; however, the way Jo was interacting with us made this seem more like an in-person event.

Fantastic – one of the best Ethics classes I have ever attended. Loved the energy and examples shared. Really caused me to pause and think about how I live my life.

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Virtual Session Attendee, Houston IIA Chapter – October 2021

This is one of the most comprehensive ethics webinars I have heard. I am happy that you were not afraid to touch on the current events that manipulate current behaviors, e.g. Facebook. We need more accountability but sadly a lot of this is missing today because of the BIG Me!

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Virtual Session Attendee, Houston IIA Chapter – October 2021

This was the most intriguing and attention grabbing ethics training I’ve ever been to. Thank you!

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Virtual Session Attendee, Atlanta IIA Chapter – The Atlanta Conference, September 2021

~Auditing Around The Corner, Virtual Session Attendees, Long Island IIA Chapter – Hot Topics Conference, September 2021

Jo is amazing teacher and advocate of the IA profession. I have very much enjoyed working with her over the past few years in the IIA Denver chapter where we both serve as chapter leaders. She puts so much energy into her professional and volunteer work. I always look forward to her training presentations because they are so engaging and on point. Jo cares so much about the IA profession and infuses liveliness and joy into her work, which translates to captivating presentations. I highly recommend her as a speaker for any event.

~Board Chair and Past President, Denver IIA Chapter, September 2021

Jo Erven is a high-energy and extremely knowledgeable speaker & author who will deliver the goods on ethics! I recently saw her speak virtually to the Financial Planning Association of Colorado and she didn’t leave any stone unturned so the attendees left with a commonsense roadmap to ethics with actionable ideas on how to proceed with their practices. Ethics is a tough topic, but Jo is able to keep you interested with virtual polls, notable in-the-news examples, and a compelling approach to examining everyday ethical issues. I absolutely recommend Jo Erven as a presenter to your company or association.

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Virtual Session Attendee, FPA of CO Event, July 2021

One of the best (maybe THE best) session I’ve ever attended on Ethics. Thank you!

Wow! Really enjoyed this speaker. Thanks for a refreshing view on ethics as well as good reading material.

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Virtual Keynote Attendees, Arizona LeadingAge 2021 Annual Conference, June 2021

I look forward to Jo’s monthly entertaining and engaging TQA live webinars! We just completed the session on Lean and I want everyone on our team to view it – it was that good! Jo challenges attendees to think outside the traditional audit role to create actionable items that can be implemented immediately. I would highly recommend Jo’s TQA webinar series, you won’t regret it!

~Internal Audit Manager, Total Quality Auditing® 2021 Webinar Series Participant, June 2021

~Director of Internal Controls, Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Virtual Session Attendee, IIA Northeast District 2 Conference, June 2021

This was the first ethics session I’ve been to that kept me alive and on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Great speaker, very engaging and entertaining. I was constantly writing down notes, documentary and book recommendations.

Wonderfully enthusiastic!! Loved the stories and the deep dives! Keeps the crowd involved and ethics fun!

~Internal Audit Professionals, Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® Virtual Session Attendees, IIA Northeast District 2 Conference, June 2021

Jo did a fantastic job with her presentation “Total Quality Auditing” to our joint hybrid (virtual/in-person) event for Coastal GA, Middle GA, and CSRA chapters on Friday, May 7th. She presented an 8 hr CPE training for us. Compliments were pouring in all day from both in-person and virtual attendees. I would highly recommend you consider Jo for a training event at your chapter!

~Internal Audit Professional and IIA Coastal GA Chapter President – Total Quality Auditing® Hybrid Seminar, May 2021

Jo is an dynamic speaker. Audit training can often look the same from speaker to speaker but not with Jo. Her training with the Coastal Georgia IIA Chapter on Total Quality Auditing was relevant to today’s auditing practices Her presentations are engaging and requires active listening. You will not leave her presentations without a having tons of new ideas to bring to your audit shop.

~Internal Audit Professional, Total Quality Auditing® Hybrid Seminar Attendee, IIA IIA Coastal GA Chapter, May 2021

You came HIGHLY recommended from some of my professional peers, so I made sure to sign up for this webinar and I am so glad I did! They were right – you are GOOD! I absolutely LOVED your energy and obvious passion for continuous learning and growth. I got a lot out of the past two afternoons that I know I can (and will!) apply to my life professionally and personally as well. I also have a whole list of documentaries I cannot wait to watch!

~Internal Audit Professional, Your Road. Your Choices. VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Central Missouri/Ozarks Chapters, April 2021

You were great in all aspects! I enjoyed all info provided. I am not much of a book reader but you have intrigued me to read a few. I want to be a better manager, auditor, and professional! You gave me drive and encouragement again. Thank you!

~Internal Audit Professional, Your Road. Your Choices. VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Central Missouri/Ozarks Chapters, April 2021

I attended a session that Jo presented around the use of surveys in Internal Audit. It was a very informative session that was full of takeaways that were especially relevant during the remote environment we are currently working in. She did a great job tying it back to current research and other data points. Sessions with takeaways are extremely beneficial so that we can take the learnings back to apply which she provided plenty of post-session resources. She also practiced the main topic of her presentation by ending with a survey! I am looking forward to another future session by Jo!

~Innovative Auditor Challenge Session (Turn on the Bright Lights: Surveys are the Key to Remote Auditing) Attendee, April 2021

I just wanted to say thanks for your training today. Your enthusiasm is contagious and appreciated. It’s not hard to get cynical when you’ve audited for ten years or even looked into the media for ten minutes! I love that there are still ethical humans in the world waving the flag. It’s hard sometimes to remember why we keep fighting when we feel alone in the battle. Thanks again.

~Becoming The Everyday Ethicist® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, Oregon Chapter of the ACFE, March 2021

Loved the presentation! It was very engaging and kept me thinking of how to improve myself. I enjoy the upbeat music and the time to think through the questions on our own without being in small groups sharing our thoughts. I do plan to read more after this, there’s so many perspectives and ways to learn. Thank you for being so engaging and making this a fun event!

~Internal Audit Professional, Your Road. Your Choices. VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Central Illinois, March 2021

Loved this class. Very engaging. I liked all of the book and movie suggestions. I would definitely take another class by Jo.

~Internal Audit Professionals, The Everyday Ethicist® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendees, IIA Indianapolis, March 2021

Jo spoke on the topic of “The Everyday Ethicist” at our recent IIA Middle Georgia Chapter quarterly meeting. She was both professional and fun! The session was virtual, but also interactive, and our chapter members seemed to enjoy the topic and the presentation. We have received good feedback from several chapter members on the presentation. We look forward to inviting her back to speak at another event in the future.

~Internal Audit Professional and Chapter Leader, The Everyday Ethicist® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Middle Georgia, March 2021

Jo’s presentations are high energy and engaging! She always varies her content, so even if you think you have seen this presentation before – you haven’t! Great examples and resources to put in place are always covered.

~Private Financial Services Client – VP, Internal Audit, Two-hour Ethics Program Attendee, February 2021

~Innovative Auditor Challenge Session (Assessing Ethics & Fraud on Every Audit”) Attendees, January 2021

Jo is an excellent speaker and engaging instructor. Each time I take one of her webcasts, I actually want them to run longer – she holds my attention the entire time. Today I participated in a book club presentation on her new book, The Everyday Ethicist. As an auditor and risk manager, I found Jo’s insights and references to be both professionally and personally relevant. I look forward to taking future book club presentations.
Each time I am able to hear Jo present, I get excited about helping to influence and create ethical growth in the organizations I support and somehow be a part of her messaging – as an ethical ethicist franchisee, so to speak.

I really like the fact that time flew and I really didn’t realize we were done!

~Internal Audit Professional, Total Quality Auditing® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA New Orleans, September 2020

I appreciate the progressive approach to auditing that you are promoting. I absolutely feel that this is the way to add value to an organization and you provided some additional things to consider to continue to improve our audit processes and approach.

~Internal Audit Professional, Total Quality Auditing® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA New Orleans, September 2020

~Internal Audit Professional, Total Quality Auditing® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA New Orleans, September 2020

Where do I start on describing this awesome seminar held by such an engaged speaker? I attended the IIA New Orleans Seminar on Total Quality Auditing in Sept 2020 and I could not believe how informative and downright interesting the sessions were…..even held virtually! ~Internal Audit Professional, Total Quality Auditing® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Florida West Coast, July 2020

Thank you so much for this virtual program. As a new member of the Internal Audit family, I feel like I am on a natural path of maturity to find that balance between assurance and consulting, spending resource time to establish credibility vs delivering solutions and value. Your course helped organize concepts to accelerate that growth and orient me to where I need to go and what I need to get there. Greatly appreciated!

~Internal Audit Professional, Total Quality Auditing® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Florida West Coast, July 2020

I loved it, you are a gifted speaker! The pacing was perfect, the tone was great, the topic was well developed and discussed.

~Internal Audit Professional, Total Quality Auditing® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Florida West Coast, July 2020

~Internal Audit Professional, Total Quality Auditing® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Florida West Coast, July 2020

Probably one of the best CPEs that I have attended. I have a really deep interest in IA and doing it better. For me, this CPE was a big gateway into learning more about TQA.

~Internal Audit Professional, Total Quality Auditing® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Florida West Coast, July 2020

Hands down the best training I’ve had in years – relevant, meaningful, engaging, and something that I can take away to continue my self-improvement journey. I honestly didn’t want it to end 🙂 Hope to attend an in-person session in the future (but great job on virtual!).

~Internal Audit Professional, Your Road. Your Choices. VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Charlotte, May 2020

~Internal Audit Professional, Your Road. Your Choices. VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Charlotte, May 2020

Thanks for the great seminar first one for me using the chat function… better than sitting in a hotel conference room!!!

~Internal Audit Professional, Your Road. Your Choices. VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Charlotte, May 2020

Very engaging conversation kept me involved throughout the entire [2-day] presentation. Who knew ethics could be so fun?

~Internal Audit Professional, Your Road. Your Choices. VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA Charlotte, May 2020

Jo’s CPE Book Club is the best ever! She reads the books that I would love to read, but don’t have time and gives me the highlights and the best take aways. And she teaches in a way that makes you want to learn from her. She is fun and creative and one of the best teachers I have EVER learned from!!!! She really helps me think!

~CPE Book Club Webinar Series Attendee, May 2020

Jo keeps participants informed about some of the best business reading through informative and interesting sessions. These sessions are a useful reminder even if you have previously read the books. She is a refreshing instructor and a great mentor.

~CPE Book Club Webinar Series Attendee, May 2020

[CPE Book Club] Pricing was very favorable and appreciated – was a great opportunity in light of COVID and had me looking forward to my “learning lunch” every Friday. I brought back good information, quotes, and discussion starters for my team. Also appreciated the ability to vote on topics rather than making decisions ahead of time.

~CPE Book Club Webinar Series Attendee, May 2020

We highly recommend Jo and her Total Quality Auditing course! The OKC Chapter of the IIA had Jo booked to present a 2-day in-person seminar for the beginning of April. Unfortunately, we had to cancel that as policies for travel restrictions and maximum meeting attendance began to be enforced at many businesses. Jo was extremely kind and easy to work with. She recommended switching to a 4-hour webinar so our members were still able to get some CPE credits without leaving the comfort of our homes. The webinar was intriguing, engaging, and very informative. We look forward to hosting Jo for a longer course in the fall.

~Total Quality Auditing® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA OKC Programming Officer, April 2020

I had the opportunity to attend the Spring 2020 IIA Oklahoma City Chapter event over Total Quality Auditing (TQA) presented by Amanda Jo Erven. I thoroughly enjoyed the webinar and left with new knowledge of how the internal audit function can add value to our organizations. A key take away I had from the presentation was that internal audit can solve future problems by being proactive, focusing on consulting engagements, to help solve client problems instead of ‘fixing’ client problems using the traditional assurance role.

~Internal Audit Professional, Total Quality Auditing® VIRTUAL Seminar Attendee, IIA OKC, April 2020

[I] Attended the IIA Phoenix Chapter Seminar and was lucky enough to have Jo as the speaker for the day. She talked about ethics and Total Quality Auditing, somehow making what could have been a very dry topic, super interesting and engaging. Whether you are new to auditing or have years of experience, you will walk away with a lot more knowledge and a new perspective on auditing. If you get the chance to learn from her, either through a presentation or through her CPE Book club series (or any other way), I would definitely recommend you take advantage of the opportunity!

~Internal Audit Professional; Total Quality Auditing® Seminar Attendee, Phoenix, AZ, January 2020

This was one of the best CPE [event]’s I have been to. You made it interactive without feeling awkward. Thank you for all of the resources. I will absolutely be taking this valuable information back to my company and trying to encourage a change of perspective. Thanks again!

~Internal Audit Professional; Total Quality Auditing® Seminar Attendee, Phoenix, AZ, January 2020

Excellent content… Love taking TQM concepts and applying them to Audit.

~ Vice President, Internal Audit Director; Total Quality Auditing® 2019 Webinar Series Participant

I’ve loved TQA {webinars} this year; I’m so glad that I found this.  My dad did TQM back in the 1980’s and he would have appreciated the intersection of TQM into my career.

~ Internal Audit Professional; Total Quality Auditing® 2019 Webinar Series Participant

{The TQA Webinar} Series was very enjoyable – nice to have a year-long series all building upon a common theme (vs. the sometimes disparate presentations put on by each month by different firms…)

~ Internal Audit Professional; Total Quality Auditing® 2019 Webinar Series Participant

I really enjoy your webinars!  They actually keep me engaged (first ever webinar that I don’t multitask to)!

~Internal Audit Professional; Total Quality Auditing®, 2019 Webinar Series Participant

~Internal Audit Professional; Total Quality Auditing® Seminar Attendee, Jefferson City, MO, September 2019

This was one of the best CPE sessions I’ve attended in the past several years. The ethics was especially good. I am taking away a lot of good information that I plan on using!

~Internal Audit Professional; Total Quality Auditing® Seminar Attendee, Nashville, TN, July 2019

Great seminar! Very engaging and relevant. I thought your Ethics portion was going to be filler, but it was very timely, relevant, and you made it interesting! I will remember your name and be on the lookout for other opportunities to hear you speak/learn from you.

Amanda Jo’s presentation on TQA gave our members great information on how to take their audit shops to the next level. She presented ideas for every level of experience and various sizes of audit shops. She challenged our chapter members to think outside the traditional audit role and to come up with actionable items to take back and implement.

Our members left motivated, inspired and equipped with fresh ideas. Amanda brings high energy and is very personable. We highly recommend that other chapters use her as their speaker.

~Internal Audit Professional; Vice President, IIA Wichita Chapter; Total Quality Auditing® Seminar Attendee, May 2019

TQA concepts make so much sense! I struggle with feeling like we are adding value, but approaching IA (in Gov’t) with TQA in mind could improve that greatly, I believe. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!

~Internal Audit Professional; Total Quality Auditing® Seminar Attendee, Wichita, KS, May 2019

Best Ethics presentation I’ve ever attended.

~RMCPAs The Everyday Ethicist® Presentation Attendee, May 2019

(Total Quality Auditing) was very engaging! (Jo) provided tools/ideas that are very useful in IA Activities!

~Internal Audit Professional; Total Quality Auditing® Seminar Attendee, Colorado Springs, CO, April 2019

~Internal Audit Professional; Total Quality Auditing® Seminar Attendee, Portsmouth, NH, March 2019

I thoroughly enjoyed Jo’s presentation on Total Quality Auditing, and found the subject matter very relevant to my current work. Jo is a down-to-earth speaker who I thought strived for personal connection with the audience rather than being a lecturer. I highly recommend her to any other internal audit chapter looking for experienced speakers.

~Internal Audit Professional; Total Quality Auditing® Seminar Attendee, Portsmouth, NH, March 2019

Good topics; interesting speaker; interactive and fun!

~Internal Audit Professional; Total Quality Auditing® Seminar Attendee, Portsmouth, NH, March 2019

Very helpful to learn more about what (the) IA function may be in the future.  I no longer am in IA, but I coordinate for Governance with IA and other audit functions.  You provided some points I can use when engaged with them that could improve inter-departmental relationships and perhaps improve the value to us as “auditors” of audit outcomes. Thank you!

~Data Governance Professional, CISA, Total Quality Auditing® Seminar Attendee, Portsmouth, NH March 2019

Ethics implies trust. Amanda Jo Erven sets this tone because her career demonstrates she knows how to build it. Internal Auditors want to walk away from the required 2 ethics CPEs with added insight on how to demonstrate the IIA’s high bar of ethical behavior and be a trusted partner with management. She creatively mixes presentation tools to meet a range of preferred learning styles, and provokes introspection on the ethical dilemmas in your realm of influence by comparing to details of one’s in the news. Very entertaining!

~Internal Audit Professional, IIA Denver Annual Leadership Conference Attendee, February 2019

What a cool experience last night!  Unfortunately, we all have a link to cancer and the way you tied it into your message was very powerful.  I really enjoyed it and everyone I spoke with afterwards and today is raving about you and the event.  Thanks for being our VIP Speaker!
